TCM is For You and Me!
Been having a little kind of cramp in my stomach lately. Those that suddenly jumps up and SQUEEEEEEEEZE at your insides. Or someone poking a few holes with a satay stick. Or a penknife running amok in my Nuclear Combustion Plant.
You get the idea.
Basically, I do have a bit of weak digestive system. Sometimes I have runny tummy contents just.like.that. Plus had a few years of having irregular meals so things just didn’t do so well.
And I am actually secretly worried that I have inherited something from my father.
He had colorectal cancer many many moons back. And it sort of killed him. It’s the #1 cancer in Singapore, if I got my facts right. But whatever cancer it is, it’s all the same difference.
So my colleague recommended this Chinese Medicine place at Geylang, whom she and a few others visit often. The old uncle is very good lah, basically. The reason why I decided to make a trip down to try this out, it’s because I would like to try a more holistic method to “adjust” my bodily malfunctions.
Need to read up more about it. However, it still boils down to self-discipline, as I would need to control my portions when it comes to meals. Smaller portions, more meals throughout the day. I heard it’s helpful for controlling the weight as well. It’ll help with the acid reflux issue also.
More later.
