New Policy, Literally..

After fervent discussions with the agent-cum-friend last night, I have decided to embark on a new policy plan. Not just one, but a whole package of stuff that covers:

1. Death

2. Disability

3. Accidents

4. Partial Disability

5. Female cancers and illnesses

6. Critical Illnesses

7. Hospitalisation Benefits + Medisave plan

8. Home Insurance - covers theft and damage to the insides/belongings of our home

So, am now officially well-covered by a wholesome plan all within the budget! And sad to say, will be “surrendering” 2 of my old policies that requires me to pay too much and get covered for too little. It’s a rip-off I tell you!

Not mentioning any company names, but I would think that the premiums I’ve paid for the past few years would have to be sacrificed. All few thousand of it. =| Nah, I’ll get back a lump sum, much less than the amount I’ve paid, but at least I could use it to cover the first few months of my new premiums. It’s a positive trade-off. Let’s just pretend that it’s all wasted on a lousy wardrobe of ugly clothes. :D

For friends who are not covered under insurance, please please do get one (or more if you can afford it) that covers death and critical illnesses for more than $70,000. My old plan covers me for half of that. -_- The new one? Hmm, I’m not saying here :P

And friends who have bought policies that pay you shrapnels of peanuts, please review your plans. You’ll never know when they’ll come in handy.
