Shopping Guilt/Pleasure.

I suffer from the horrifying ACUTE SHOPAHOLIC SYNDROME, also known as ASS.
It’s a terribly complicated and untreatable syndrome that squeezes its way right into the core of your very being with both pleasure and guilt. Yes it’s rated PG (pleasurable guilt) for its acute attack.

Went Subway-ing again at Amara Hotel… lo and behold!

A Charles & Keith shoe sale!! Strappy heels for $5 - $8!!!

The ASS in me goes into over-drive and before I know it, I had already dived headfirst into the pile of strappy sandals, throwing my umbrella and drink aside, happily tearing off the shoes I am wearing and rolling in the mentioned pile of PVC leather footwear. I shed tears of joy and ecstasy! I am incurable!!!!

The damage done at the end of that ASS attack? It’s $44. Nope I didn’t buy 9 pairs of strappies, only a pair of black boots with kitten heels and a pair of brown heels. The boots are not in that good condition on the inside panel, but once you lace it up, who can see right??!?!?!!!?! It’s only $39!!!!! Where to find boots that will fit my thick calves??!!!??!! RIGGGHHT???!!!!

So you can see, I am desperately trying to explain myself for my irrational actions with rational reasonings. This is one of the most apparant and appalling symptoms of an ASS attack. Sufferers often feel a need to justify their buying impulses. This is something we cannot help ourselves with. Shoes are detrimental to our fashion health, people. Please please please understand this NEED.

This syndrome is instantly diminished once a carrier pays for the goods and strolls away with a skip in her step. And this, will be followed by a bout of guilt. The starving bank account does not quite agree with her expenditure, she suddenly realises. Even if the bank account is happy and flourishing, the carrier feels an immense urge to feel guilty. This, is also one of the less obvious traits coming from carriers of the ASS.

And while I have a little too much time on my hands on this sleepy Friday afternoon. I went eBaying. I can’t stop clicking away and I am fighting my urge to hit the “check out” button. Look what I found! These are targetted at the aim of getting a clutch purse to match my dress for the ROM ceremony. It’s so funky that I am unable to find anything that matches it. Grr.

Chinese Take-Out
So cuuuuuuuuuuuute, these Chinese Take-out bags! SWOON!

Miso Pretty Take-Out
Miso-Pretty Take-Out bag, seems like only TopShop carries the products for this brand.

Loop Flying Circus
Loop’s Flying Circus Owl clutch purse. OMG OMG OMG THIS IS NICE!

Devil Ducky
Totally unrelated, but a cool Pirate Devil Ducky!!!

Alright alright. The ASS has struck again and I should just forget about these. *whimper*
